Dr. Jessica Meister

Clinical Neuropsychologist

Dr. Zakiya Adams-Best

Clinical Neuropsychologist

Dr. Zakiya Adams-Best is a licensed clinical psychologist who specializes in pediatric neuropsychological assessments. She completed a fellowship in child and adolescent neuropsychology at the Center for Attention and Learning at Northwell Health/Lenox Hill Hospital. Dr. Adams-Best is currently an adjunct professor at Yeshiva University, supervising clinical practice in psychoeducational assessment.

She received her doctoral degree from the combined School-Clinical Child Psychology program at Yeshiva University. Prior to this, Dr. Adams-Best graduated with Honors with a Bachelor of Science from Emory University where she focused on Educational Studies and Neuroscience and Behavioral Biology. Her other training experiences included early childhood assessment, Autism diagnostic evaluations, and assessment and advocacy in school aged populations.

Dr. Hugh Love

Clinical Psychologist

Diplomate in School Neuropsychology

Dr. Hugh Love is a licensed clinical psychologist in NY state with expertise in clinical services with children, adolescents, and young adults. He is a Diplomate in School Neuropsychology, certified by the American Board of School Neuropsychology. Dr. Love is currently a staff psychologist in a community-based program at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital/CUIMC and Assistant Professor of Medical Psychology (in Psychiatry) at the Columbia University Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons. Dr. Love received his doctorate in School Psychology from Fordham University in New York City and holds a Masters in Counseling from New York University. Dr. Love has considerable experience in evaluation and assessment specializing in psychological, psychoeducational, and neuropsychological testing for psychiatric and school-related issues.

Dr. Enitan Marcelle

Associate Neuropsychologist

Dr. Enitan Marcelle received her doctoral degree in Clinical Science from the University of California, Berkeley, and her bachelor's degree in Psychology and Music from the University of Pennsylvania. Currently, Dr. Marcelle is a second year fellow in pediatric neuropsychology at the Promise Program at Columbia University Irving Medical Center. Prior to her current position, she completed her pre-doctoral internship at the Children's National Hospital, in Washington, DC. Her interests include both research and educational advocacy. Dr. Marcelle's research focuses on the development of executive function and attention skills, and she has particular expertise in providing assessment and intervention for children and adolescents experiencing challenges in these areas. Her clinical experience includes particular focus on neuropsychological, psychological, psychoeducational, and autism assessment.

Dr. Ruby Rhoden

Postdoctoral Psychologist 

Dr. Ruby Rhoden received her doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology from Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey and her bachelor’s in Psychology from Cornell University. Dr. Ruby completed her internship at Lenox Hill Hospital in New York and she is currently a first-year postdoctoral fellow in clinical psychology at a private practice in New York City.

Dr. Ruby offers psychoeducational testing for adults, adolescents, and children to provide a better understanding of psychological and cognitive strengths, weaknesses, and patterns of behavior. She has considerable experience evaluating neurodevelopmental and mood disorders to provide tailored recommendations for school, home, standardized testing, and workplace settings.

Sophia Fineberg

Program Assistant

Sophia Fineberg has a B.A. in Psychology from Barnard College. Her areas of particular interest are child and family clinical psychology. She will be pursuing a Master’s in Social Work from Yeshiva University beginning in June 2023.

Luisa Garbowit

Master’s-Level Psychology

Intern

Luisa Garbowit is a first-year MA student in the Clinical Psychology program at Teachers College, Columbia University. In addition to working with Dr. Meister, she is a crisis counselor for the Trevor Project and works on research projects related to the effects of self-transcendence, client’s perceptions of therapist dishonesty, and the emotional consequences of breakups.

Kira Fox

Barnard Practicum Intern

Kira Fox is a fourth-year B.A. candidate in Psychology at Barnard College. Her areas of interest include child and adolescent clinical psychology, and she has worked with children with Selective Mutism, ADHD, and chronic illnesses. In addition to her psychology work, Kira is a yoga instructor and enjoys teaching yoga to kids and adults.

Anya Jan

Barnard Practicum

Intern

Anya is a fourth-year B.A. Psychology student at Barnard College. Her areas of interest include child and adolescent clinical psychology, and Anya hopes to pursue her doctorate degree after she graduates. Anya has primarily worked with children in third-world countries who have ADHD or Down Syndrome.
